Copyright © 2004 J.M. Ingram & Associates A2LA Proficiency Testing Requirement If proficiency testing programs that are suitable and relevant to the scope of accreditation are available through commercial proficiency testing programs … or through well-organized inter-laboratory comparisons (ILCs) or internal/external round robin programs, the laboratories must participate in these programs.

Ingram & Associates Program Requirements Acceptability of such programs will be made on a case-by-case basis by the assessor, and will be based on the design of the program, its frequency, the suit- ability of the samples, and defined written criteria for data analysis and corrective action.
