APPOINTMENT OF SETA ACCREDITED PANEL OF TRAINING PROVIDERS FOR PSIRA Compiled by: Ms. MG Malaka

Background  The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) with its head office in Pretoria is the statutory body regulating the private security industry in South Africa.  PSIRA is the learning organisation which provides occupational programmes from its Workplace Skills Plan to capacitate its workforce with the current trends of skills in various occupational levels on an annual basis.

Purpose  The purpose of this bid is to appoint 24 panels of experienced service/training providers to provide accredited trainings for the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) internal employees from the admin level to the executive levels for a period of 36 months,  The aim is to get two panels of providers per the 12 categories of PSIRA Business Unit,who will offer accredited skills programmes to our staff members.

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES The panels should meet the following expectations: Skills programmes must be conducted by an accredited facilitator Skills Programmes offered must be NQF aligned with credits Conduct Assessment on rendered courses. Offer learner support pertaining the Portfolio of evidence. Provide attendance certificates, statement of results and competency certificates The appointed service providers must be able to render training service where our office branches are situated I.Durban ; II.Eastern Cape ( Umtata and Port Elizabeth); III. Cape Town; IV. Bloemfontein; V. Polokwane; VI. Nelspruit VII. Gauteng. Offer skills programmes that are customized to meet the developmental needs of PSIRA

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES Render in-house training where our offices are based from minimum of four (4) employees and external to the provider premises if employees are less than four (4). Provide training manuals to all employees attending the training. Offer lunch for training conducted at provider premises. Provide training attendance registers with evaluation forms Provide a training calendar within a period of twelve (12) months on identified skills programmes Issue quotations on all trainings that have been identified Invoice the employer after the relevant training has been rendered. Offer accredited certificates within three months after training has been attended.

Scope of Services TWO SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL BE APPOINTED BASED ON THE BUSINESS UNITS AS OUTLINED BELOW: 1.Law enforcement, Legal, a Forensics and Compliance skill programmes. 2.Financial Management, debtor’s collections and accounts receivables,and Supply Chain/Procurement skill programmes. 3.Leadership/management development programmes. 4.Information Technology Technical and Microsoft skills programmes. 5.Marketing Communication, Branding and Events, Customer and Stakeholder Relations programmes and Call Centre skills 6.Human Resources and Labour Relations, Training and Development Skills programmes 7.Facilities, Occupational Health and Safety, maintenance and fleet management skills programmes. 8.Business Soft skills programmes, Records/ Documents management, mail and Registry trainings. 9.Security and Risk management skills programmes. 10.Research and Development trainings 11.Electronic/Technology Systems Training for Security Inspectors. 12.Firearm Competency Training

Reporting and Monitoring  The contracted service provider will be expected to report to the Manager: Learning and Development  Provide the PSIRA Human Capital with monthly and annual training report on rendered courses I. total number of employees’ attended, II. total number of employees submitted the POE, III. total accredited certificates issued, etc.  Provide further with Narrative analysis report, interpretation and recommendation for action on all programmes ( Pass/fail rate in terms of programmes rendered, Attendance, Special need mechanism for our adult learners)
