What did you like about the Distance Learning experience? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ The diverse courses and how every year we get new curriculum. It gave our school another period to offer Math B. Working with the host teachers - Great experience! I had a very enjoyable year. There were minimal "down times". Every year seems to get more reliable. Interacting with the other schools, teachers and students. It is nice to meet students and colleagues from other schools Our students enjoyed meeting the students at Cohoes. I liked everything about DL. We got to go on our sociology NYC trip and it was so nice to get to know everyone in person. I think it really gave us a bonding experience which came out in class.

What did you dislike about the Distance Learning experience? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ When the 1 st semester course ended and the 2 nd semester began, the easy rapport between the teacher, the host school students and our students was disrupted by the additional site. The students at the additional site were often disrespectful to the teacher and the other students. Not getting to meet the other teachers/students in person. The difficulty with school calendars that don’t match and different days off for conferences and holidays. Our students would like more hands on work. I am hoping that our coordinator is able to incorporate more classes into our schedule next year. Everything went fine. There was nothing that I disliked about distance learning.

Of course, we did not have to use it that often this year. Technical support - super job! Always a pleasure to speak with them! Mrs. Drescher and the staff were very helpful. I was very comfortable calling when I needed to. 4. Did you feel comfortable calling the DL toll free number for technical support? All those who responded said,“Yes, I did.” Comments:

Were you satisfied with the assistance of the BOCES support team? They are always helpful. Great group to work with…always there to help. Absolutely, they were very helpful and efficient. Always. Extremely!!! All those who responded said,“Yes, I was satisfied.” Comments:

What changes would you offer to improve the DL program? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ I would like to see more people trained so when someone is sick, we have coverage. Default volume controls between classes so there are not huge swings between periods with volume (Specifically between Schalmont and Cobleskill and Schalmont and Mayfield.) I don't really think there are any changes to be made.

General Comments ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ I would like to see us more fully utilize the system that we have. Possibly do some adult education courses that are offered to taxpayers. Maybe a connection to one of the community colleges.
