What is the difference between Annual and Five- year sprinkler test

Fire sprinkler systems are comprehensive procedures which, when completed, will confirm that all sprinkler system components are in good condition and will ensure the system’s successful operation.

During an annual fire sprinkler inspection, physical checks are performed on all the parts of your fire sprinkler system.fire sprinkler system

These checks include water flow tests, control valve test, main drain test, visual check of all sprinklers and pipe.

During a five-year fire sprinkler inspection, physical checks are performed on all the parts of your fire sprinkler system.

The purpose of a check valve is to allow water to flow into your fire sprinkler system from the water supply but not allow it to flow back out, which could contaminate your water supply.
