Task 12: Environment By: Jake Young Jacob Sommer U.S.S.R.
The F.S.U. is polluted from Russia’s radioactive disposals and accidents throughout the life span of the U.S.S.R.
Grabber: Translation: Translation: (Nuclear Tan), to avoid another Chernobyl Explanation: Explanation: Provide safer nuclear power plants so another radioactive explosion does not happen like in Chernobyl
Concentrated Pollution - Severe polluted areas - Acid Rain
- Power Plant -Radioactive-waste dump site (water) - Uranium/ Plutonium construction site Radioactive Sources
-Polluted rivers
Chernobyl The Chernobyl incident happed when a soviet nuclear power plant exploded spewing toxic chemicals everywhere affecting many countries especially Chernobyl. Effects caused many birth defects and contaminated approximately 17 million people Fact: The power plant explosion was equivalent to 500 atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima
