Cortijo el Pintor

Cortijo el Pintor is a very unusual restored property once the home of a famous Spanish painter. Situated only a few minutes from the town of Villanueva del Rosario and 30 minutes inland from Malaga. The property has total build of 718 m2 with two houses each with many rooms on various levels including the artists studio. In addition there is a store room and boiler room.

Artists Studio

The cortijo is entered via doors from the quiet lane into a large courtyard used for summer gatherings.

The main house is accessed from this courtyard. There are a total of five patios.

Set in 12,600 m2 of totally flat land bordering the river on one side and tarmac road on two sides. The land has a number of olive trees and has been used for growing cereal and other crops but could be used for any number of use including horses and other livestock.

Location Situated just outside of Villanueva del Rosario and 30 minutes inland from Malaga. The town has all possible amenities including schools, medical center, many shops and small businesses, bars and restaurants. Granada and Malaga airports are both reached in 30 minutes. The beaches of the Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical are an easy day out and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada reached in around one hour.
