Text: In Integrating Technology in the Elementary Music Classroom at CCSU, we learned how to create wikispaces for our music classes, how to utilize Audacity and GaragBand, and evaluated music software and music websites.

Where you can post podcasts: Where can I post a podcast for people to download?  Your website  Your school’s website  Your free wikispace (10 mb or less)    Publish to iTunes: h-podcast-itunes.html h-podcast-itunes.html

Why podcast? Excellent assessment tool! Enhancement to a musical unit. Very hands-on project for the students. Post on website, wikispace, etc so the parents can access them and see a glimpse into you curriculum besides concerts.

TrakAx For my PC friends…

Podcasting Create a podcast that you will be able to utilize in your classroom. Or Use GarageBand to create an accompaniment that you will use this school year Or If you feel that you would like to work more on your wikipage or blog, evaluate software or websites,or work on your lesson plan, you may do that instead. Please use the time to work on a project that will enhance your classroom this fall.
