Superheroes on Television How many can you name? What do they have in common? How do they differ from films? One of the places I always start is with genre. It allows pupils to start to draw out conventions as well as their prior knowledge. Common answers? Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Other comic adaptations sometimes – The Walking Dead. Older programmes such as Wonder Woman and Batman from the 1960s…
