Although they were to completely different times periods, the revolution in Libya and the American Revolution do have some things in common. They both revolted against their rulers. The colonists were looking to break free from England, and as far as the Libyan Revolution, the civilians were looking to break free from Gadaffi's rule! Difference:The leadership was already established in the American colonies, so when the revolution ended there was a government that only had to be organized by the constitution. In Libya there was no leadership only a dictatorship. The Libyans will need help for establishing a government and writing a constitution.
