Welcome To A Brand New School Year! Stay Tuned For Some Exciting Information…

Archer Bucks…  This year, you can earn Archer Bucks and trade them in for fun activities or other goodies!

Get caught… You earn Archer Bucks by showing everyone that you can:  Be Safe  Be Responsible  Be Respectful

 Those are big words. What exactly do they mean? Let’s take a closer look… Get caught…

Be Respectful/ Tener Respeto  A student who is respectful raises his/her hand quietly and calmly in class before speaking!

A student who is respectful:  raises his/her hand quietly & calmly in class before speaking. (when señora Bennett is teaching you should silent).

A student who is respectful:  raises hand quietly & calmly in class before speaking. (when señora Bennett or someone else has permission to speak).

A student who is respectful:  keeps hands and body to himself/herself. (“no toque” señora Bennett’s stuff nor someone else’s stuff).

A student who is respectful:  keeps hands and body to himself/herself. (Respects someone else’s space).

A student who is respectful:  pays attention when señora Bennett is teaching or someone else has permission to talk. (eyes on speaker at all times, no exception, no giggling, no grunting, keep minimum oh’s).

A student who is respectful:  treats and returns ALL class materials nicely. (be nice and gentle to señora Bennett’s materials and leave them in Spanish class).

A student who is respectful:  always remembers to use polite words in a polite tone. (please, I’m sorry, excuse me, thank you, you’re welcome, you’re smart).

A student who is respectful:  always remembers to use kind words in a kind tone. (by helping others, and saying Are you okay?, You can make it, it’s okay, it’s going to be okay,…)

Be Responsible Ser Responsable  A student who is responsible brings his/her Spanish FOLDER back everyday to Spanish!

A student who is responsible:  brings his/her folder to Spanish with ALL the handouts in. (takes the folder home and brings it to school.)

A student who is responsible:  always works hard in Spanish class. (does what the teacher tells them to and does not put his/her head down or goes to bathroom for 100 years, and don’t say I’m done). works hard at school keep working hard works hard at home

A student who is responsible:  listens carefully señora Bennett’s lessons and instructions.

A student who is responsible  follows señora Bennett’s instructions. (aliniense, silencio…)  silencio aliniense alza la mano

A student who is responsible:  follows entering procedures, bathroom (bano) and water (agua), and exiting procedures. Raise your hand before going to the bathroom and getting water.

Be Safe Tener Cuidado  A student who is safe walks with a buddy side by side when they go to the front office or go for an errant!

A student who is safe:  walks with a buddy side by side when they go to the front office or go for an errant. (walks to and from the place you are going and doesn’t stop to smell the flowers nor to talks to someone nor takes another way to go to the errand).

A student who is safe:  Sits nicely up right on chair and stays seated. (does not use chairs as rocking chairs. Stays seated and gets up with Señora Bennett’s permission).

A student who is safe:  lines up quietly respecting other students space. (you don’t want to be someone else’s backpack).

So Remember…  …it will pay off in a big way!  Be Safe  Be Responsible  Be Respectful
