Module Description Students will focus on differing aspects of watershed health during their studies of biology, chemistry and mathematics.

Purpose To explore the local implications of mining activities on the Clear Creek Watershed

The Objectives Students will gain a better understanding of water systems Students will utilize various computational models such as Stella and Excel to better understand a problem Students will learn various methods to display and analyze data

Even More Objectives Students will see cross curricular connections between mathematics, science, and social studies Student analysis of scientific concepts will lead to a greater understanding of a societal issue
