PFE Student Performance Evaluations PFE Program Coordinator Instructions

PFE Student Performance Review Instructions This year, our student performance evaluations will be conducted online in a process very similar to the online reflections. They are to be completed and submitted to our office by June 15. This performance review will collect information from ◦the student’s self-assessment with their parent or guardian’s feedback during the same log-in session and a performance feedback from their ◦You, the program coordinator, ◦and the senior mentor they serve. We have designed the workflow so that you do not have to enter all the data at one time. You will have the ability to go back and add evaluations/feedback before finalizing the student’s review.

Step 1 You will direct your students to and click on the link found on the lower portion of the front page entitled: PFE Student Performance Review.

Step 2 Students, along with their parents, will select “Student and Parent or Guardian” and complete the student’s self-assessment and Parent or Guardian feedback during the same log-in session. For Q6, instruct students to select For Q7, instruct students to select Spring Semester

Step 2, continued Once the parent or guardian has answered Q27, they will skip Q28 Coordinator Password and Question 29 Assessment Status. Then, they will click Continue at the end of that page and on the next page, click Submit. X x

Step 3 You will receive an indicating the student has completed their self-assessment. When you are ready to provide feedback to the student about their performance, click on the link provided. If you don’t have all the performance reviews from the senior mentor, keep this to access and input data as you receive it. No other s will be sent until the evaluation is final. You will select Program Coordinator for the “Person submitting this performance review” and use the same password as you use to approve student reflections.

Step 4 Do you have all your information? Yes, I have collected the performance review from the senior mentor and I am ready to give my feedback of the student’s performance. Select “Completed” for Q28. This question appears after the parent’s feedback. No, I am still missing some information but I want to go ahead and enter my feedback of the student’s performance. I am still waiting for the feedback from the senior mentor my senior mentor liaison is collecting. Select “Started” for Q28. You will always select “Started” until all data is complete.

Step 4, continued Just a reminder that at any time you are working in the student’s performance review, you will need to always click “Submit” at the end to save your work. That is why it is so important that you accurately choose either “Started” or “Completed” in Q29.

Clarification on Performance Feedback It is at this point, you or the person that approves the visit reflections will provide feedback for the student. The person that observes the student most often should provide the feedback. There is other feedback you will need to provide. ◦You or your senior mentor liaison will collect feedback from the student’s senior mentor. ◦I have attached that form to the website and via so that the information can be gathered onsite. The information from the completed paper forms will then need to be entered into the student’s performance review.

Step 5 – Completed review Once you have completed the performance review, you will receive an stating that the performance evaluation for your student has been completed. You will then see a PDF of the complete performance review included in the . Please share this complete review with your student to either congratulate or coach for improvement.
