August 29 th 2005 Hurricane Katrina, the fourth largest hurricane in history, hits the Gulf Coast leaving in its wake a trail of destruction and chaos
Immediately Christ In Action responded to the challenge of helping the people of Gulfport restore their lives
Within twenty four hours of arriving in Gulfport CIA had all of their equipment setup and was serving their first meal
Today Christ in Action is serving over 5,000 meals a day between to the people of Gulfport, MS And WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
What can I do? First we need your prayers –The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective – James 5:16 Second we need donations –Between generators and refrigeration trucks we are using over 125 gallons of diesel fuel a day –We use over 1,200 eggs every day for breakfast Third we need volunteers –Chicken doesn’t cook itself –When the need in Gulfport has been met it is on to New Orleans
