Electronic References: Reference List 2 General info & rules (APA Publication Manual, p. 189) Use digital object identifier (DOI) when available Refer to type of reference example (journal, book, etc.) – see Ch. 7; select appropriate electronic version format The following slides give the section and examples for frequently used electronic referencing formats.

Electronic Resources: e-Books “Although some Kindle books have “location numbers”, which are static, they are useful only to other Kindle users and may even vary from one model to another.” Include as much information as you need for the reader to locate the cited material. Chapter number, section heading, and paragraph number within the section. Electronic Resources: e-Books “For references to 3-book readers (e.g., the Kindle, Nook, or Sony Reader), include the type of e-book version you read (two examples are the Kindle DX version and the Adobe Digital Editions version).
