In January 2015, the trade union center of Aktobe region made a petition to the Public Prosecutor contesting the order of the Director General of LLP "CNPC-Aktobe transport company" with respect to discrimination in the sphere of employment on the grounds of belonging to trade unions. The result was the cancellation of the order and the Director-General's involvement in the administrative responsibility. (Art. 90 of the Administrative Code of RK - discrimination assumption at work) In January 2015, the trade union center of Aktobe region made a petition to the Public Prosecutor contesting the order of the Director General of LLP "CNPC-Aktobe transport company" with respect to discrimination in the sphere of employment on the grounds of belonging to trade unions. 7 The relations between employer and employees will increasingly be built through collective bargaining. The main tool to protect the rights and interests of trade union members is a collective agreement The concept of "Production Council" is entered. The decision of Production Council for safety and labour protection are now obligatory for the employer and employee Trade unions have achieved that payment for overtime work at night, weekends and holidays was not less than 1.5 based on the amount of the daily (hourly) employee rates. This provision allows trade unions to increase this rate and to fix through the collective agreement Trade unions have defended ensure the share of the basic wage of not less than 75% excluding non-recurring incentive payments Public control over observance of the labour legislation is assigned only to trade unions Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan

Creation of trade unions in law enforcement agencies and the armed forces. (ILO experts) Article 23 of the Constitution of RK p. 2. The military, employees of national security, law-enforcement bodies and judges must abstain from membership in political parties, trade unions, and actions in support of any political party. Their special legal status in the system of state bodies, specific functions and activity necessitates this constitutional limits. Activities of political parties and trade unions of other states, religious parties as well as financing political parties and trade unions by foreign legal entities and citizens, foreign states and international organizations shall not be permitted in the Republic Article 6 of the Law of RK "On Trade Unions" Trade unions in accordance with the statutory goals and objectives have the right to cooperate with foreign trade unions and other organizations working in the sphere of protection of rights and freedoms of workers, as well as to conclude cooperation agreements. In order to protect from external influences, ensuring the autonomy and independence of political parties and trade unions, the legislation of Kazakhstan prohibits the financial assistance to political parties and trade unions by foreign entities.
