About (E.I.F.F.A.) - EIFFA is the only and official representative of FIATA in Egypt. - FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association) is the largest non-governmental organization based in Zurich, Switzerland, representing the freight forwarding industry by many other governmental organizations and authorities as well as private international organizations in the field of transport. - EIFFA, The Egyptian International Freight Forwarding Association, EIFFA is the official organization dedicated to enhancing, supporting and leading this field to a successful and prosperous future. - EIFFA was established in 1990 as a division of the Alexandria as a part of Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, Now hosts close to 500 members from all over the country. Recently EIFFA has opened a new branch in Cairo to serve over 200 members located in Cairo. -

EIFFA Mission  To monitor, direct and aid the advancement and utilization of the Freight Forwarding industry in Egypt.  To strengthen and create demand for the Freight Forwarding industry in Egypt  Contribute to the governmental policy and decision making in Egypt by providing information, feedback, and trends to help set regulations that are beneficial for all parties.  EIFFA acts as a liaison and lobbyist for Forwarders and related service providers in Egypt Through the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.  EIFFA creates ideas and activities to improve the Freight Forwarding industry and make it more effective in the era of globalization.

EIFFA Services 2-3 Industry  EIFFA provides mediation services in cases of disputes and conflicts between members or between members and other local overseas companies, agents or subsidiaries.  EIFFA designates board members to attend the annual meeting of FIATA and report on the developments in the multi-modal international transport industry as well as on various changes in the field.  EIFFA provides news, information and events of interest in the Freight Forwarding industry to keep members informed and updated in the field.  EIFFA follows the development of the international transport industry through the gathering of data and information both internally and externally for indexing and publishing for members to benefit from.

EIFFA Services 3-3  EIFFA’s various committees maintain relations with the FIATA and IATA organizations for issuing publications of joint policy regulations and clearing for government entities to refer to regarding international transportation issues.  EIFFA Provides Training to It’s Members in Different Related Fields to the Freight Forwarding Industry.  EIFFA creates ideas and activities to improve the Freight Forwarding industry and make it more effective in the era of globalization.  EIFFA follows the development of the international transport industry through the gathering of data and information both internally and externally for indexing and publishing for members to benefit from. EIFFA Achievements in Training - Dual Training School for International Transport Students about 600 Students graduated and working in EIFFA members companies – 3 days at school – 3 days at EIFFA member company for 3 years. El Nile School, Cairo and Talaah Harb School, Alexandria. -EIFFA and the Arab Academy had great success for FIATA Diploma with total graduates about 240 with very ambitious plan for the Higher FIATA diploma as from next year after the re validation of the FIATA Diploma in LA last October - For almost 14 years EIFFA is supplying the schools with curriculum, computers,. Software, English teachers, sites visits to ports, air ports, custom authorities, social programs.

EIFFA Achievements in Training - HIGHER FIATA DIPLOMA TOT PROGRAM WITH PROF. THOMAS SIM FEB.2013 IN ALEXANDRIA - FIATA DOPLOMA REVALIDIATION OCT LA USA - EIFFA have arranged a community meeting for making a definition for the Freight Forwarders to be inserted on the new Customs Law. The dialogue was attended by a group of the custom authority, lawyer, p and I and freight industry leaders. - A Letter was sent to the head of custom authority to include in the new expected Customs Law. -EIFFA have signed a protocol for extension the cooperation in training, FIATA Diploma, Higher FIATA Diploma, IRU CPC, Other training and researches program for undergraduate, port graduate and industry development needs. - EIFF have signed a protocol for extension the cooperation in between FIATA and our national carrier Egypt Air granting special discounts for EIFFA members staff and families.

EIFFA help members to finance -EIFFA have started negotiation with NBE SME to allow our members to finance the expansion in the freight business such as building warehouses and operating new fleet of trucks and other logistics projects

 EIFFA is signing a protocol with Egypt goodness to train students to FIATA diploma Powered by EIFFA  EIFFA is Preparing to joint cooperation protocol with Al Baraka Bank to serve all EIFFA Members.  EIFFA is signing a protocol with Arab Academy to study the higher FIATA Diploma In Cairo & Alex  EIIFA Board member have started a friendly visits to the major shipping lines in order to build a common understanding between EIFFA members and main container shipping lines. EIFFA will continue the visits and announce the results to members regularly.  EIFFA is preparing a protocol with NBE for financing EIFFA members projects  EIFFA is preparing protocol with Road safety institute to enhance EIFFA drivers performance  EIFFA is preparing a protocol with Insurance Co to present third party liability insurance for members 

For Medical Insurance to serve EIFFA Members.  EIFFA is held a meeting with Greek Ambassador Mr. Chris Lazaris to discuss the ways of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of international transport & Logistics
