OEWC – Strategic Objectives 4  Create awareness among targeted populations of the critical need for a skilled energy workforce and the opportunity for education that can lead to entry level employment.  Implement clearly defined education solutions that link industry recognized competencies and credentials to employment opportunities and advancement in the energy industry.  Balance the supply and demand for a qualified and diverse energy workforce.  Organize and manage the OEWC to maximize it’s positive impact on national, state and individual company initiatives.

OEWC – Establishing a Baseline 5 Area of focus: Assess current level of awareness of industry and related careers within secondary schools based in our respective service territories

Assessment Approach 6 1.Partner with post secondary schools to identify what high schools feed into their energy related degree programs. 2.Utilize an exploratory survey to establish baseline. 3.Identify audience for the survey. 4.Select administration approach/instrument. 5.Develop implementation plan for administration. 6.Communicate, administer, compile and assess.
