Summary First the Hardy boys find out that their friend Chet's car was stolen. They find out on that day there were multiple incidents. The boys think that the man who stole Chets car was involved in them. The treasure from the Bayport tower was also stolen. Mr.Applegate accuses Mr.Robinson of stealing. The boys don't believe that Mr.Robinson did it. They try to help Mr. Robinson prove he his indecent and catch the thief for $1,000.

Setting It takes place in the 1920s in a city called Bayport on the east coast. They also go to New York City for the mystery. Bayport is a city with 50,000 people, located on Barmet Bay, three miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. A small, but striving city. The boys also go to Cherryville railroad. Which is North of Bayport. The boys go to Bayport High.

Theme I think that the author's message is that he is trying to say that you can be brave and don't give up. When the boys didn't find anything in the tower they did not give up and they eventually they solved the mystery. I learned that you can do anything if you believe in yourself. When Mr.Applegate accused Mr.Robinson they did not believe that he did it so they believed in their self that they could prove that he was indecent.

Recommendations The book's book level is 5.4 and it is 6 points. I would recommend you reading this book or any of the Hardy Boys books because they all are very good. The Hardy boys books are all very good because they are at a good book level and they give you 6 AR points. The Hardy boys is a good book for kids my age. I plan to read more of Franklin W. Dixon's books.

GATE Icon-Extra Credit I think that details icon relates to this the story because it has clues and the clues are very important in the story. Some clues are when they find a hat with red wig hair and a jacket where Queen was parked. Then they find out that some one had stole a red wig from an actor. The actor works in New York and that's where the hat and the jacket came from.

The end!
