LONDON

London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. It´s a beautiful place to visit. It´s bigger than Madrid and smaller than New York. There are lots of famous sights to see, for example: The London Eye, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, British Museum, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge...

THE QUEEN ELIZABETH T he Queen Elizabeth II lives in Buckingham Palace with Prince Philip and her dogs. She´s from United Kingdom. She´s 85 years old. She´s short and thin. She´s got long, white and curly hair. She´s got short and blue eyes. In this picture, she has got a blue jacket. She likes dogs, but she doesn´t like cats.

THE TOWER OF LONDON The Tower of London is smaller than Big Ben. Big Ben is taller than the Tower of London, but it´s shorter than the London Eye.

BIG BEN Big Ben is one hundred and six metres tall. Big Ben is shorter than the London Eye, but it´s taller than Buckingham Palace.

TRAFALGAR SQUARE Trafalgar Square is a famous square in London. It´s very big and you can visit the National Gallery there. Leicester Square is smaller than Trafalgar Square, but it´s got lots of cinemas and restaurants.

OXFORD STREET In Oxford Street there are lots of big shops. Oxford Street is longer than Regent Street. Regent Street is shorter than Oxford Street.

THE LONDON EYE The London Eye is one hundred and thirty- five metres tall. It´s taller than Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE The Buckingham palace is very big. It´s one hundred and eight metres long. It´s shorter than the London Eye. It´s longer than the Big Ben.

LEICESTER SQUARE Leicester Square is a famous square in London. Leicester Square is smaller than Trafalgar Square, but it´s got lots of cinemas and restaurants.

BRITISH MUSEUM The British Museum is shorter than the Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is bigger than the British Museum.

PICCADILLY CIRCUS Piccadilly Circus is shorther than Big Ben and the London Eye. Big Ben is bigger than the Piccadilly circus.

TOWER BRIDGE The Tower Bridge is two hundred and eighty-three metres long. It´s longer than the Buckingham Palace.

THE TELECOM TOWER The Telecom Tower is one hundred and one metres high. It´s next to the flats. It´s taller than the church of my town.

NATIONAL GALLERY National Gallery is in Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar Square is a famous square in London. It´s very big. Leicester Square is smaller than Trafalgar Square, but it´s got lots of cinemas and restaurants.
