Purpose of Data Overview The purpose of this data overview is to review, analyze, and compare demographic data and state standardized testing scores over the past three consecutive years. The data will show the changes in testing scores, student population, and other demographics within the school.

Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test CRCT assessments are state-mandated test. These assessments are intended to measure how well students have mastered the content and skills that are unique to Georgia’s Performance Standards and Georgia Common Core Standards in the areas of Reading, English/Language arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies for grades 3 through 8. Based on performance, students are classified as: Level 1 - scores below "Does Not Meet Standard” Level 2 - scores from 800 to "Meets Standard” Level 3 - scores at or above "Exceeds Standard” N= number of students

West Manor Data Strengths and Weaknesses Strengths  The reading scores continued to increase for 3 rd, 4 th, and 5 th grade averaging 98% total.  The math scores continued to increase for 4 th and 5 th grade. Weaknesses  The math scores for 3 rd grade decreased each year and should be the area of focus.  The reading scores fell below state level in 2011.

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!! From this data it is clear that our students are doing really well overall, any suggestions on maintaining these high percentages? How can we improve math instruction in order to increase math scores each year?
