My experience –I graduated from Florida International University!!!! –I’ve been educating students for 9 years. –I have been teaching at Spanish Lake Elementary School since the second year after it opened. I have taught First, Fourth, and Fifth Grade. Hobbies/ Things I enjoy doing: –Reading –Surfing the Internet –Spending Time with My Family –Exercising

-To ensure that each of you have a safe learning environment. -Prepare every student in this class not only for the 5 th grade assessments, but for lifelong learning! -Assist you in reaching your educational goals.

I believe that you are mature and responsible Fifth Graders and you are responsible for your actions. Your behavior affects your Conduct Grade. Rewards Consequences

Our classroom is a community. In our community, we have rules to help us get along with each other. Our class rules are: *Be in class on time (8:30) *Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak. *Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. *Stay in your seat unless you have permission to do otherwise. *Follow directions the first time they are given. *Complete all assignments. *Do your own work. *Do not talk while someone else is talking. *Bring school supplies everyday. *Do not disrupt the classroom learning environment (Ex: excessive talking, playing, making noises, etc.)

Always be on time. We start class at 8:30. Sharp! Be ready for learning! Take Home Learning out to check and copy Home Learning. If you are late (after 9:00 A.M.) you need a pass from the office. If you are absent, bring note from parent(s) or doctor by the next day.

-I will assign homework every night. You will also need to read 30 minutes daily. -Parents need to check your home learning daily. -Copy all your home learning assignments in class. -Complete and return home learning assignments on time. -Make sure you have the necessary materials to complete your homework: textbook, worksheet, paper, pencil, workbook, etc.

*Please make sure you join my website, Remind, and Class Dojo. *You or your parents can me whenever necessary through the website.

We have lots of fun field trips planned for this year! We will go to: –Islands of Adventure. –Rock Odyssey –There could be more that we decide to plan for you at a later date. It is up to you, if you will participate. You need to have good grades and great conduct. You need to demonstrate you can be trusted.

First home learning assignment is for your parents to go onto the website, me, sign up for Remind, and Class Dojo. Make sure they tell me your name so I can give you the grade. :) !
