Presentation transcript:

On Tuesday 25 th January 2011 Y3 and Y4 took part in a “Young Enterprise” Project in preparation for Enterprise Week. Y3 focused on “Our Community” and they learned all about the important people who make a community, what buildings they may find, what jobs their may be and why people need to pay taxes. The children completed lots of tasks and worked extremely hard.

 During this activity the children had to identify the different people and buildings that makes a community. Children had to look at a list a circle all the things they could find in Fazakerley.  The children realised that Fazakerley is a unique community as in our area we have a racecourse and a golf driving range.

 As part of the day the children and staff, dressed up.  All the children made a special effort to dress in clothes that people may have worn 100 years ago, what people might wear 100 years in the future, or dressed in clothes of a job that they want to do in the future.  The jobs ranged from doctors and nurses to lion tamers !
