Board certifications that he earned include American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in September 1988, North American Society of Pacing & Electrophysiology Certificate in the year 1991, American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases Certificate in November 1995, and American Board of Interventional Cardiology Certificate in November Even after acquiring all the necessary certifications he continued to study further in order to improve his knowledge even further.
In the year 1992, he has honored by the Division of Cardiology at the George Washington University Hospital for presenting the maximum number of research abstract in scientific meetings.
