El presente del subjuntivo traducciones/práctica

I hope she speaks with me tomorrow. Espero (Ojalá) que (ella) hable conmigo mañana. They want us to buy it. Quieren que lo compremos. I insist that you work every day! ¡Insisto en que trabajes cada día!

We prefer that they live far away from us. Preferimos que vivan muy lejos de nosotros. The teacher suggests that we study more. La profesora sugiere que estudiemos más. Our mother demands that we clean the house. Nuestra madre exige que limpiemos la casa.

I doubt that they leave on time. Dudo que salgan a tiempo. We don’t believe that they tell the truth. No creemos (pensamos) que digan la verdad. They are not sure that we hear well. No están seguros de que oigamos bien. I don’t suppose that you bring me gifts. No supongo que me traigas regalos.

My friends prefer that I drive faster. Mis amigos prefieren que conduzca más rápido. I fear that fire will destroy my house. Temo que un fuego destruya mi casa. The teachers are not convinced that I deserve an A in all of my classes. Los profesores no están convencidos de que merezca una A en todas mis clases.

Be certain there is a change of subject in the sentence. If not, you will use the two verb construction you have always used: I want to build a new house. Quiero construir una casa nueva. My mother insists on cleaning the house each weekend. My mamá insiste en limpiar la casa cada fin de semana.
