By Yvonne Collins & Sandy Rideout The Black Sheep By Yvonne Collins & Sandy Rideout

Plot Fed up with her parents and all their ridiculous rules,15 year old Kendra Bishop writes away to The Black Sheep, a reality TV show that offers the chance to swap families with another teen. But when the camera crew, led by brash TV producer Judy Greenberg, shows up at her Manhattan apartment, Kendra starts to have second thoughts.

Plot Too late. Kendra is taken away to Monterey, California, to live with the Mulligan family in a household that couldn't be more different from her own, complete with hippie parents, their five kids and a pet ferret. Of course, when Kendra falls for Mitch, the Mulligans' 17 year old son, it only makes things worse, especially since Mitch hates the reality TV show and everything it stands for. But given the chance, Kendra might just be able handle it, her new fame , and a pushy producer who will stop at nothing for higher ratings.

Main Characters Judy (black sheep producer) The Mulligans (Mitch, Mona, Max, Meadow, Maya) Kendra Bishop The whole book is read in the point of view from kendra herself.

Conflicts Kendra is tired of the rules and dull life she has in Her home. Her parents are raising her to be a banker, which she doesn’t want to be. After her parents fired her closest thing to a loving parent (her nanny Rosa), she writes a letter to the black sheep TV show. A few months later, after forgetting all about the letter, the camera crew arrives at her house, only to get her in more trouble.

Conflicts After her parents agree to Judy & give them her permission, she’s taken away to the airport to meet the Mulligans and start her new life In California. After a first few days in the mulligan home, she walks in on Mitch naked in the bathroom. From then on they hate each other and barely have anything to do with each other. Kendra is still trying to adjust to a housefull of “tree hugging hippies” and being followed by a camera 24/7. Kendra goes to the local aquarium with some of the mulligan family and gets attached to a sea otter who they’re trying to nurse him back to health and eventually release back to where he came from.

In “the black sheep”, everything is mostly foreshadowing because you can predict what might happen later in the book.

Likes & Dislikes I liked the book cause it was awesome. But I didn’t like how it carried on about nothing half the time.

Recommendation, Read the book.(:
