FIRST… YOU WILL NEED A SUBJECT ( WHO PERFORMS THE ACTION) Generic NOUNS : TREE, BOOK, CINEMA Proper NOUNS : JOHN, MARY PRONOUNS ( they substitute a noun) : HE, SHE, I, WE….

….and a verb VERBS EXPRESS THE ACTION : To eat To study To go

But now you need to put them together!!! First comes the subject : I, Mary, the library…. Then you MUST conjugate the verb…..

CONJU…WHAT????? CONJUGATE means that the verb’s ending changes according to the subject (singular, plural, first person ( I), second (you) etc. SO….. I ( SUBJECT) STUDY ( VERB)…..

BUT SOMETIMES…. You will need an object…. OBJECTS ARE NOUNS THAT RECEIVE THE ACTION FROM THE VERB I EAT AN APPLE APPLE IS THE OBJECT

YOU WILL DO THE SAME : 1)SUBJECT (SOGGETTO) IO, TU, LUI, MARIA, GIOVANNI, IL TAVOLO, LA CASA 2) VERB ( VERBO) … which in Italian has a different ending for each person…. MANGIO, STUDI, PORTA, GUARDIAMO
