Hispanic Heritage Dinner Celebrating Diversity and Multiculturalism in our community come to celebrate with us our Hispanic Heritage month. This event is open to all at the cafeteria on October 27 th from 5-8 for 5 dollars.

King of the Court Sign up to play at KOTC. There will be only one senior and junior team from Jay Rob. All sign up information due by September 23rd. If need be, tryouts will be on September 28 th. The games will be held at Hickory Ridge this year.

National Art Honor Society We will have an interest meeting Wednesday, September 21 st for students who qualify. ALL MEMBERS FROM LAST YEAR WILL NEED TO RE-APPLY. Applications are available in room 822. There is a 10 dollar fee to join.

PSAT The PSAT is October 19 th. Sign-ups are in guidance. Students who have or are taking Math II. Juniors must take the PSAT to be entered into the National Merit Scholars competition.

Robinsons’ Red Club The Robinson Red Club will have their first meeting on Thursday, September 15 th in room 711. This is a community service club that works with the American Red Cross. Snacks will be available.

Seniors All seniors who plan to go to a 2 or 4 year college next year HAVE to fill out the Senior Questionnaire form for guidance. This allows us to write a counselor recommendation for you. Please go to the student services webpage and fill out the form ASAP.

Scholarship Alert Moorehead-Cain Scholarship application to UNC Chapel Hill and the Parks Scholarship application to NC State are available now on the Student Services Website. They are due to Mrs. Bender/Matthews by September 16th.

Tri M Music Tri-M Music Honor Society is open to all music students. There will be a meeting today. Please have a ride home by 2:50.

Trunk or Treat International Thespian Society is hosting a Trunk or Treat Fall Festival Food Drive in the Commons on October 26 th. If you or your club is interested in sponsoring a table see Mrs. Platek in 912.
