Demographics Enrollment -542 students Grades – Junior Kindergarten - 5 Free and Reduced Lunches % Minorities -11% ESL -.01% Sped-15% Gifted- 17% Mountain View Elementary offers an educational program, including physical education, art, general and vocal music, library, and guidance. It also provides a computer-assisted instructional lab, Title I, an active parent program including volunteers, and a Teacher's Assistant Program with Alleghany High School. Mountain View is located between Clifton Forge and Covington. First year as a Focus, School in the subjects of English and Math, ; Gap Groups 1 and 2.

DATA ROOM

English We are using a VDOE- approved adaptive reading assessment program to determine student growth at least quarterly. At Mountain View Elementary School, we are using STAR Reading and Interactive Achievement programs.

Math We are using STAR Math for our students. The students are assessed each six weeks. Students are assessed with Interactive Achievement three times per year.
