DESKTOP PUBLISHING Editing & Formatting Week 1 & 2

What is Microsoft Publisher? desktop publishing program designed by Microsoft for use on its Windows operating system platform offers features that enable a user to design various publications, such as newsletters and brochures, with relative ease application that allows users to design page layouts in a variety of capacities differs from other publishing and design software in that its emphasis is on entry-level usage. Publisher is usually used together with Microsoft Word, which allows for proper text composition and proofing that can then be imported into the program.

Features provides hundreds of design templates each customizable for the design of newsletters, flyers, postcards and brochures allows the importation of colors, fonts and logos for brand identification that can be stored and categorized in Microsoft Publisher's catalog offers 70 designer- created color schemes to aid in the production process, as well as layout, typography and graphics tools
