FUNCTION SUPPORT TO LATERAL ASPECT OF ANKLE PROPRIOCEPTIVE RESPONSE TRIGGERED BY PULL OF SKIN

MATERIALS UNDER WRAP GAUZE SQUARES LUBRICANT TAPE SIZE: 5 CM / 3.75 CM

POSITION PATIENT SITTING WITH FOOT OVER THE END OF BENCH

APPLICATION PATIENT SHOULD BE CLEAN, DRY SHAVED IN THE AREA TO BE TAPED FOOT IN NEUTRAL POSITION ADHESIVE SPRAY- FOR PATIENTS WHO SWEAT APPLY UNDERWRAP- FIGURE OF 8 AROUND ANKLE KEEP GAUZE SQUARES ON ACHILLES TENDON

SUPPORT TAPE SUPPORT-1: START JUST PROXIMAL TO LATERAL MALLEOLUS, IT SHOULD BE ANGLED DOWNWARDS TOWARDS POSTERIOR ASPECT OF CALCANEUS AND THEN PULLED TAUTLY UPWARDS, COVERING THE BACK HALF OF LATERAL MALLEOLUS AND CONTINUING UPWARDS TO LEVEL OF FIRST ANCHOR SUPPORT-2: STARTS PROXIMAL TO FIRST STRAP,PASSES ANTERIOR TO MEDIAL MALLEOLUS AND LIE DIRECTLY TOP ON FIRST STRAP,CONTINUING ON CALCANEOUS TO BE PULLED TAUTLY UPWARDS COVERING ANTERIOR HALF OF LATERAL MALLEOLUS AND CREATING A V-SHAPE WITH. SUPPORT-3: PLACED IN THE CENTRE OF FIRST TWO,PULL TAUTLY UPWARDS COVERING THE MALLEOLUS

ANCHOR LOCK APPLY THREE MORE ANCHORS OVER ORIGINALS

ARCH SUPPORT THE ARCH SUPPORT START PROXIMAL TO MEDIAL MALLEOLUS. IT PASSESS DOWNWARDS OVER LATERAL ASPECT OF FOOT AND THEN IS PULLED TAUTLY UPWARDS FINISHING THE APEX OF MEDIAL ARCH

HEEL LOCK THE LATERAL HEEL LOCK STARTS PROXIMAL TO LATERAL MALLEOLUS.IT SHOULD BE ANGLED DOWNWARDS TOWARDS THE POSTERIOR ASPECT OF CAL CANEUM AND THEN PULLED TAUTLY UPWARDS COVERING CALCANEUM LATERALLY.IT CONTINUES OVER MEDIAL MALLEOLUS,ANGLED UPWARDS AND FINISHES PARALLEL TO START
