The day begins at 8.45am but school is open from 8am Break time at 11.10am Lunch time at1.30pm for half an hour The day ends at 3.00pm Being late results in loss of break time that day Students will have 5 lessons each day The first day at school is Tuesday 6 th September at 8.45am Aspire. Form groups are allocated by school to ensure a fair mix of students. Factors considered are ability, gender and feeder primary school Aspire. Grow. Succeed

On the hopefully rare occasion that your child receives a detention, parents will be informed via text Prior notice of 24 hours will always be given to parents The duration of a detention will range from 30 to 60 minutes long Aspire. Grow. Succeed

All students have the opportunity to sample a taster language lesson within their taster days. This is not necessarily the language they will doing in September. We can not guarantee your child’s first language choice. However we do try where possible to accommodate initial preferences if these have been detailed on your admission form. If your child hasn’t been given their first choice, please encourage them that this is an ideal opportunity to learn a new skill. Aspire. Grow. Succeed

We are still waiting on some admission forms to be completed. If you do require a new admission form then please collect one from me at the end of this presentation. Aspire. Grow. Succeed

Allows you to ‘top up’ online - You must top up and then ‘allocate items’ to pay for meals or trips etc. Enables you to monitor what your child is eating Details of how to access ParentPay can be found on our stall outside and the website Further details will be posted out to you all in September Aspire. Parents are encouraged to attend school events such as Information Evenings, Open Evenings, Awards Evenings, Parents Evening, music and drama performances and fairs We want to create an open and supportive school community and have arranged Coffee Mornings and SLT drop-ins to encourage communication.
