Section 1 of Presidential Decree 1566 states that: “Self-reliance shall be developed by promoting and encouraging the spirit of self help and mutual assistance among the local officials and their constituents”

GENERAL : MUNTINLUPA is one of the 17 localities which comprises the Metropolitan Manila Area. It consist of 9 Barangay’s from north to south namely; Brgy. Sucat, Buli, Cupang,Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Bayanan, Putatan, Poblacion and Tunasan which are all lying along the shoreline of Laguna de Bay, except for Ayala Alabang, situated on the western portion of the city. Rationale : The frequent disasters and calamities visiting our country create interruptions in our daily activities, prompting us private institutions and the LGU to develop a contingency plan. Contingency Plans is necessary especially for those who are at risk and prone to hazards. The plan aims to lessen the undesirable effect to both lives and properties.
