WORLD LITERATURE JOURNALS
EACH DAY, UNLESS THERE IS A TEST OR A SPECIFIC EVENT IN CLASS THAT PREVENTS US FROM DOING SO (LIKE MRS. TUCKER FORGETTING), THERE WILL BE A JOURNAL PROMPT OF SOME SORT ON THE BOARD. YOU NEED TO KEEP UP WITH EACH ENTRY (EITHER IN A SPIRAL NOTEBOOK, A WRITERS NOTEBOOK, OR ON LOOSE LEAF PAPER IN YOUR NOTEBOOK). YOU WILL NEED TO LABEL THEM ACCORDINGLY (I SHOULD HAVE THEM LABELED FOR YOU). EVERY 10 JOURNALS, I WILL DO A JOURNAL CHECK FOR A FORMATIVE GRADE. THERE WILL ALSO BE TIMES WHERE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO GO BACK AND LOOK AT A SPECIFIC JOURNAL AND EDIT/REVISE IT FOR A SUMMATIVE WRITING GRADE.
