IOSH Managing Safely Online

Cost and time effective Health and safety training

Would you like to save time and money? Would you like to save time and money? IOSH Managing Safely courses are specifically designed to address these issues. After all, an accident in the workplace does not simply mean cessation of operations in the workplace which can send ripples in the productivity in the company. An accident can also mean hampering the victim's ability to earn for himself and his family. Also, accidents set up companies for legal proceedings and compensation awards, not to mention bad publicity.

Who should take the course? In the past, those who wanted to attend such courses had to earmark a specific number of days to attend training. However, with advancements in computers and the Internet, those who wish to undergo health and safety training can now do so by simply going online. This gives the learner the opportunity to learn at his own pace, setting aside a few hours to learn after finishing his tasks at work. Additionally, experts on the course are at the ready to provide additional information or clarify issues that the learner finds difficulty in grasping.

IOSH Managing Safely Course Overview Introducing Managing Safely This module reinforces the role of managers in making sure all members of their team understand the significance and uphold the principles of managing safely. Assessing risks Risk assessments and a simple scoring system are introduced in this module, and delegates are given the chance to execute both.

IOSH Managing Safely Course Overview Controlling risks This examines how risks can be fully controlled or reduced through specific techniques and methods. Understanding your responsibilities This module rounds up the demands of the law and how the legal system works in reinforcing a health and safety management system.

IOSH Managing Safely Course Overview Identifying hazards This is where all main issues of any operation are tackled – everything from entrances and exits, to work traffic, to fire, to chemicals, electricity, and so much more are discussed. Investigating accidents and incidents This sheds light on the importance of determining the “path” of workplace accidents, and how to properly go about it.
