We will be concluding The Crucible early December by finishing a creative, analysis project as well as finishing an essay that the students have been working on in class. This essay is especially important because we will be going through each step of the writing process from research, to outlining, to individual conferences with me, and finally editing! After closing the pages of The Crucible, the English 11 classes will shift to reading a parable as well as several poems by Hawthorne and Poe. Again, the students will be sent home their readings and given supplemental work in class. Please check the website for links to the readings! Finally, we will be checking student progress with a second benchmark test to take us to the holidays! Let’s earn this break! -Ms. Spinelli Minister’s Black Veil & Edgar Allan Poe!
