Rules of the game A game table is set up at the front of the room with space for one team member from each team. Each team has a turn at picking the category and value for the round. Once a category is selected, the teams choose a player for that round and they sit at the game table. The players will be given a time limit to solve the question. If stuck, a player may ‘buy’ one more person from their team to help them. This will cost half of the prize money for that question. If the question is answered wrongly, the team will still be charged this amount. All team members that solve the question correctly in the given time are awarded the prize money. The game continues until all questions have been asked or the time runs out. Every team member must an equal number of turns. The winning team is the one with the most prize money at the end of the game. Teacher tip – I change the colour of each completed Q to keep track of those already done while team members return to their seat.
