EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  Undergraduate program and 4 years of Medical School.  Training may include a full Orthopedic rotation during Medical School.  After graduating, physicians must complete a 5 year residency program.

JOB DUTIES Determined by the needs of the patient Diagnose and assess injury’s or diseases through diagnostic testing (Example: X-Rays) They recommend and implement non-invasive treatments

COMPENSATION PACKAGE Most fall between 450,000 and 550,000 dollars a year

SETTINGS WHERE EMPLOYED 44.3% - Private Practice 20.9% - Solo Practice 6.7% - Hospitals or Medical Centers 8.5% - Academic Institutions

HOURS THEY WORK It mostly depends on the program Most work at least 60 hours per week Some can work up to 80 hours per week
