 Complete evaluation/pilot for virtual desktop integration (VDI)  Release preliminary mobile PIV  Develop another mobile application  Complete parts of new permitting/request system  Work with wellness to explore Desk Active replacement

 (IT) FY13 expenditures 89% of budget FY14 non personnel budget decreased by 1.4% FY15 non personnel request < FY14  (Technology – IT related requests) FY13 transfer in request 2.4% > FY10, FY11, FY12 FY14 >FY13 by 2.7% FY15 > FY14 by 3.1% (due to anticipated increase in software maintenance)

 Aerial photos as part of Pictometry project  Make use of more and more online training opportunities  Selling old equipment on Craig’s list  Joint fiber projects  Continue Implementing Print Audit recommendations – don’t automatically replace printers that die

 Completed virtualization of servers with DR site. Only GEMS left (waiting on software update)  Elections centralized voter database for access from satellite stations.  Redundant fiber connections for DR site  Kent Park campground wireless fully deployed

 Setup patch management system to keep PCs updated  Installed upgrades to almost all of our systems  Normal updates/repairs on hardware

 Completed system for Planning & Zoning Permits and Health Inspections  Conversion of real estate system for Auditor, City Assessor, County Assessor, and Treasurer’s Offices is underway  Converting several systems that access real estate data (Permits, GIS, disaster damage reporting, tax apportioning interface to GEMS, and several web lookups)

 We have now replaced all code written in prior technology (Cold Fusion)  Added 2 new departments to financial and phone applications and Reporting Services  Monthly insert Collections payments into County Attorney Prolaw system  Updates to various software systems

 Rick Havel received Community Service award from Iowa Geographic Information Council  Updated Property Information Viewer  2012 Orthophotography collected and made available

 2013 Flood Orthophotography and obliques collected and made available  Flood support at JECC  Custom maps  Pictometry Self-Hosting updated  Assisted County Assessor in using GIS for agland assessment  GIS updates for JECC

 Intranet – covered above  County website –We added over 2,100 items in our content management system this past year along with hundreds of changes  Installed and implemented new version of the content management system

 Flood response - added interactive maps of road closures and added/updated many web pages with flood information  New Board ‘News Release and Publications’ pages

 Reworked the entire Medical Examiner site  Redesigned the WIC section of Public Health  Updated Secondary Roads construction page to use interactive maps  Added new Finance Department pages

 VoIP phone system and phone line support.  Employee PC purchase program  Many signs, posters, banners, flyers  We completed over 1,270 work orders
