Sam Noble Museum Visitors are immersed in the natural and cultural environment. One of the world’s largest university-based natural history museums. Over 7 million objects and specimens. Hall of ancient life Over 4 billion years of Oklahoma’s prehistory. Over 4 billion years of Oklahoma’s prehistory. There are many paleontology collections, models, interactives, and detailed dioramas. There are many paleontology collections, models, interactives, and detailed dioramas. Highlights from this gallery include: Highlights from this gallery include: Arthropleura, ancestor to millipede and dragonfly, in coal swamp forest with other native Oklahoman plants and animals. The Cretaceous exhibit includes Pentaceratops. The skull is 10-and-a-half foot skull is the world’s largest.
Hall of Ancient Life “Clash of the Titans is the center piece. Features two of largest Jurassic dinosaurs, the Apatosaurus and Saurophaganax, in a battle. The “Dinovator” allows people to get face-to-face with the Apatosaurus on the 2 nd floor.
Hall of Natural Wonders This exhibit features the sights and sound of Oklahoma’s land. It makes you feel as if you are there on the land.This exhibit features the sights and sound of Oklahoma’s land. Ozark highland diorama- features oak and hickory trees with running water and bird’s chirping in the background as you walk through.
Hall of natural wonders Limestone Cave- Allows people a walk-through experience of bats, crayfish, and other animals that live in darkness. Mixed-Grass Prairie- Features bison and rattlesnakes gives off warning rattles as people get closer to the exhibit. Future dioramas include: Black Mesa, Swamp, Tall and Short Grass Prairies, and Cross Timbers

Hall of people of Oklahoma Highlights include:Highlights include: Cooper Skull- the oldest painted object in North America. It is a crushed skull of the now-extinct bison. Mississippian Cultural Universe- a walk through of replica pole built houses from the Spiro Mounds and cedar canoes used by by ancient artisans. Modern Era- features the Native American experience in the 19 th, 20 th, and 21 st centuries including toys, clothing, and ceremonial objects.

Columbian Mammoth The Columbian Mammoth is a life-sized sculpture from over 12,000 years ago. Need to know Admission:Admission: OU Student- free Adults- $5 Seniors- $4 Children- $3 We are free on the first Monday of each month. We are located at 2401 Chautauqua Ave and are open Monday through Saturday from 10a.m. to 5p.m. Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
