In this patient,the MRI lesion was recognized as blood but was interpreted as chronic, notacute, hemorrhage. In patient 4, a left frontal lesion is interpreted as subarachnoidblood on CT (white arrowhead). This lesion is apparent on the GRE sequence(black arrowhead) but was interpreted as blood by only 1 of 4 members of ourpanel. The corresponding DWI image shows hyperintensity indicative of acuteischemia within the left anterior cerebral artery territory (yellow arrowheads).
