IPEDS Outcome Measures 3 Changes Announced to IPEDS Data Collection Outcome Measures – Winter Outcome Tracking for 8 Years (2007 Cohort) Part-Time Students Non-First-Time Students Outcome Tracking Includes “Did not receive an award, subsequently enrolled at another institution” THECB provided available data on this new measure to assist institutions in reporting TACRAO Jul 2016

Item #XXa Individual with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The student has been identified as having intellectual or developmental disabilities. Typically, this information will be self-reported or reported when a student receives special services. This item will be a subset of item # 22C. Leave blank if not applicable. 1. Items 21A, 41A and 61A will need an additional choice of “Exemption based on new SAT (test taken after March 2016)” and revise the language for the other item to say “Exemption based on old SAT (test taken prior to March 2016)”. The explanation text for items #21B, #41B, #61B will need to add the choice number for the new SAT added in #21A, #41A and #61A. The text for items #41B and #61B will need to be updated to say “Critical Reading Score” (if reporting old SAT) or “Evidenced-Based Reading and Writing Score” (if reporting new SAT). The intro will be updated to reflect the new exemption rules based on the new SAT. The new exemption scores are scheduled to be approved at the July board meeting. The competencies are grouped into traditional course rubrics. Institutions will report each course and each student enrollment in a course when all of the competencies affiliated with the course are successfully completed. A course and the affiliated student enrollment will be reported as a Flex course on the CBM00S and CBM0E1 at the end of the semester when the course is successfully completed. If approved, the first CBM002 submission with the new exemption score value will be Fall 2016 – due February The course and course enrollment should be reported as a flex span course/enrollment on the CBM001 and CBM004 in the semester AFTER the course is successfully completed.
