Adopt Proposed Schedule of Rates and Charges for the Will Rogers Memorial Center Parking System (M&C G-16886) Presented by Kirk Slaughter, Director of Public Events Pre-Council April 6, 2010

2 In the Star-Telegram on Saturday, April 17, 2008 Jeers: To whoever is responsible for scheduling various events at the Will Rogers Coliseum and the surrounding area at the same time and not giving a thought about the lack of parking. On a recent Saturday, I gave up and left. Cheers to those who were able to find a parking space to attend an event. -Glen Hunt, Bedford

3 Received on March 26, 2010 regarding an event on March 5-7, 2010 “The parking for our show was horrible. I estimate Friday 1,000, Saturday, 5,000 and Sunday 2,000 people could not attend our show because of no parking … There are too many shows for the parking spaces you have. When we left Friday and Saturday night at 10:15p.m. the lot was completely full…” Gary Nevins, Texas Show Car Association
