Launched in 2010 in Tourou, Benin, Tolaro Global is a leader in the primary processing of cashews, in cashew-rich West Africa. Employees receive industry leading wages, healthcare, childcare and meals 50% of positions in the 1st factory are filled by women, including supervisory roles 2,400 farmers have been trained through the train-the- trainer approach and farmer yields have increased 100% CREATED OVER 600 JOBS FOR BENINESE OVER 80% RETENTION RATE BUYS FROM 7000 FARMERS

Unshelling Africa’s Potential The Innovation in Tolaro Global Rotisage Off-grid, safe-quality certified, highly automated facility Organic, Fair Trade, Hypo-allergenic 3200 Farmers will be trained in organic cultivation Supplier Farmer Coops receive 10% of Net Income

Tolaro’s new business will deliver a product that is the most attractive and most responsible product in the organic and snack food aisles, competing well in both aisles on appearance, features and price. An investment capital of $750,000 will help build a world- class roasting, salting, and packaging facility and a $450,000 line of credit for working capital will help sustain operations for the first 12 months at the new factory.
