What is the method? Unite computational resources using distributed computing. Create virtual currency (like cryptocurrency). Every device (PC, smartphone etc.) can download client for distributed computing of biomedical applications from our system. Use computational resources to integrate all computational methods in biomedicine into one tree of life. In this tree the roots are the resources, provided to the project (financial and computational) by community/crowd and the branches and leaves are the results produced, the fruits are the people, cured from aging and diseases Cryptocurrency is paid to those, who provide resources to the project. The results are sold for this crypto currency. 2
General Project Structure Bioinformatics Project integrates software/IT solutions from the next fields into one computational modelling system Omics Chemoinformatics Structural biology IT Statistics The goal of the system - find networks configurations (genes, proteins, other metabolites integrated together), which should be changed in order to cure the disease. Modeling of the cures - chemical drugs (pharmaceutics), antibodies, or gene editing interventions etc., which are required for changing the networks configuration from pathological to healthy. Modeled cures are provided to the experimental researchers. 3
Current analogues and similar solutions/projects … Closest to us, molecular dynamics only, no integration of different software … fundamental, molecular dynamics only, no applied science … protein folding only, similar to Folding@home … service oriented, not community based and it is therefore expensive. Focused on general purpose AI, not specifically on new medicines discovery … no data integration, some projects are similar to folding projects and some use docking only with focus on specific diseases. Problems - narrow, not focused on getting technologies/drugs. None of them has its own currency to pay the volunteers the market-defined price for their computational power! 4
Why our project is different? Usual mining of currencies requires useless decoding, while in our project you get tokens in exchange for your computing power used for useful scientific research. Our token is smart-contract based: the amount of digital currency you get is proportional to research tasks your PC has solved. In contrast to most of the BOINC-projects we pay our volunteers/crunchers/miners using our own token with value based on the real benefits, which your computational power gives to the humanity.
