Teaching Philosophy My values as an educator: Empathy, Inquiry, Self-Awareness and Self-Appreciation It is my sincere hope and ultimate goal that each of my students leaves my course more empathetic, curious, and self-aware. I genuinely want students to recognize all they are capable of and to be proud of the individuals they are.

Course Objectives 1. to offer students a college-level seminar course which challenges them to explore other cultures and interpret varied literary genres; 2. to refine writing skills; 3. to prepare students for demanding college English programs as well as for the AP examination
