Book Choice due Tuesday, March 29  We will meet and briefly discuss your book choice and page total for the quarter.  You may “abandon” a book that you don’t like anywhere within the window of 25 to 50 pages. This means that you must read at least 25 pages before you ditch the book, but you won’t get credit for anything beyond 50 pages that you read.  We will meet and briefly discuss your book choice and page total for the quarter.  You may “abandon” a book that you don’t like anywhere within the window of 25 to 50 pages. More about book choices  Reading will take place regularly in class (typically Mondays and Wednesdays), but you will need to read outside of class time to meet the page goal and finish your book.  Special note about books connected to a movie or TV show: you may read a movie/TV related book, but you may NOT use it for a Book Talk.  If you present about a book and are not able to convince me that you read it, I will record this on your page in the book binder and you will not receive credit.  Reading will take place regularly in class (typically Mondays and Wednesdays), but you will need to read outside of class time to meet the page goal and finish your book.  Special note about books connected to a movie or TV show: you may read a movie/TV related book, but you may NOT use it for a Book Talk.  If you present about a book and are not able to convince me that you read it, I will record this on your page in the book binder and you will not receive credit.
