Future Time Using BE GOING TO BE GOING TO expresses the Future Form: am, is, are + going + infinitive I am going to read my book. Negative Form: be + not + going to I am not going to read my book. Question Form: Be + subject + going to Am I going to read my book? See page 294
Future Time Using Present Progressive Form: Am, is, are + v-ing I am going home at 1:30 today. (it is the morning) I am traveling to Riyadh next week. BOTH Present Progressives refer to the Future Time See page 299
Future Time Using Will Sentence Form: Subject + will + verb (basic verb without “s” or “ed”) I will read my book. I will use my phone. Short Form: I’ll read my book. (I’ll = I will) Negative Form: will + not I will not use my phone. OR I won’t use my phone. See page 310
