News From KEK S.Tanaka

FY2010 prelim. run schedule 2 Long-term Scheduling Committee (Uno) Max. : 12-May ~ 30-June actual run time is not decided yet (Oide-san requested 1 month running at KEK budget hearing) Accelerator study: ? days Background study: a few shifts in 1-2 days ? E CM (max): like to keep <11.02 GeV (BT, magnets) GeV (Linac limit) [achieved max.]

Next B2GM meeting I discussed with IR, SVD people about rearrangement of B2GM meeting (Below is just my idea) PXD session will divide to some sub-meetings. – PXD session (mainly DEPFET, Electronics ) Session style is same (may be shorten than last B2GM meeting). – Service (Cooling, Cabling, assembly issues) Combined with PXD, SVD, IR, Accelerator people Mainly discussion (short summary may talk on PXD session) – DAQ Not decided yet, but I think some detailed discussion should have with SVD and DAQ people.

BELLE PAC (2/19-20) - Design of machine-detector-interface - Technology choices made, and will be made - Construction schedule - Organizational structure of the new collaboration – I’ll prepare the slides based on C. Kiesling’s talk on July B2GM (mainly group structure), H.-G. Moser’s on Nov B2GM and Some update on Prague meeting.
