E. Hazen6 DAQ Upgrade ● FRL will eventually be replaced by Fiber... the question is when, and what protocol. HCAL will be first with some number of FEDs during 2013 shutdown ● Intensive negotiations continue... in my opinion an adapter will not be required, but stay tuned!

E. Hazen7 AMC13 Progress ● Schematics are done! ● T1 layout is done! T2 should be done this week ● BOMs are available!

Hazen8 AMC13 Plans / Schedule ● T1+T2 layout ready for review this week ● Internal review (only) for prototype (by engineers, perhaps Frahm, Gorsky, Iles) ● Fabricate 10 pieces (plus spare parts) ● Aim for mid-July delivery of assembled boards ● Distribute to Early Adopters after smoke test (August) ● Develop early firmware (based on DTC) during PCB fab/assembly ● Integrate with MiniCTR2C Sept-Nov ● … further planning must fit with HCAL schedule ● This depends on continuous funding!
