Those who are Good Reap the Rewards of Friday Allah is Goodness

Allah has has chosen from every race the best of it and accorded it to himself, for He does not love anything except that which is good and He does not accept words, deeds or charity except those which are good. ● So thus we as Muslims live trying to adopt the attributes of Allah ● We speak good words which are the only words that ascend to Allah and we are the most averse to obscene words, lying, backbiting, tale-bearing, slander, false testimony and every kind of evil speech. ● Similarly, we like only the best of deeds — and we behaves towards the rest of Allah's creation as we would want them to behave towards us ● Finally our traits of character are the best and we protects our countenance from surrender or humility towards anyone besides Allah

Such are amongst those whom Allah refers to when he says: "Those whose lives the angels take while they are in a pious state (i.e. pure from all evil, and worshipping none but Allah Alone) saying (to them): "Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be on you) enter you Paradise, because of that (the good) which you used to do (in the world)." (Quran 16:32) They are also those to whom the following addresses: "Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein forever." (Quran 39:73)

Also Allah says: "Bad women for bad men and bad men for bad women. Good women are for good men and good men for good women: such (good people) are innocent of (every) bad statement which they say; and for them is forgiveness, and generous provision, (i.e. Paradise) (Quran 24:26)

This Verse has been explained as meaning: Evil words belong to evil people and good words belong to good people. It has also been explained as meaning that good women are for good men and vice versa Also what is meant is that rejects that sometimes man gives in the good and sometimes he falls victim to that which is bad. But should he die one believing in Allah and not upon shirk, Allah may place him in the Fire in order to cleanse him of sins. But since the polytheist is evil by nature, the Fire does not cleanse him and he will remain in the fire forever

To help us to live up to the Goodness of Allah, Allah has commanded for us to take the Prophet (sa) as a guide ● So we thus following and obey him in everything he taught and told us of ● Our Prophet explained to us the Goodness in attending the Jumuah Prayer

It has been authentically reported from the Prophet that he said: ● "Allah diverted those who were before us from Friday; for the Jews (the day set aside for prayer) was Saturday, and for the Christians it was Sunday. And Allah turned towards us and guided us to Friday (as the day of prayer) for us. In fact, He (Allah) made Friday Saturday and Sunday (as days of prayer). In this order would they (Jews and Christians) come after us on the Day of Resurrection. We are the last among the people in this world and we will be the first among the created beings to be judged on the Day of Resurrection." (Muslim) ● Also He said: ● "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday: On it, Adam was created, on it, he was admitted to Paradise and on it, he was sent out of Paradise and the Hour will not be established except on Friday" (Tirmidhi)

Also the Prophet said: ● It was said to the Prophet a "For what reason was the day called AlJumu'ah?" He said: ● "Because on that day, the clay was shaped from which your father, Adam was made and on that day in the last three hours, there is an hour when whoever supplicates Allah will answer." ● (Ahmed) ● So thus it was a part of the guidance of the Prophet to glorify this day and to honour it and to mark it in certain ways, including: ● He would recite in the Fajr prayer on that day Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Ad Dahr for in them is mention of what has been and what is to come on that day. (Muslim)

To show how great a day Friday is for us, the Prophet taught: ● Send many prayers upon the Prophet during the day and during the night, For on that day, they will be sent to their abodes in Paradise and it will be a Day of Abundance when they enter it and they will be near to their Lord on the Day of Abundance; and how much of this abundance they will receive is in accordance with their closeness to the Imam on Friday and how early they come to the prayer. ● Bathing on the day of Al -Jumu'ah, is something strongly confirmed and whose obligation is greater than that of ablution ● The wearing of perfume and brushing the teeth with the Miswak; is a superiority on this day as compared to other days ● Also the wearing of one's best garments and the fact that every step which the walker takes towards it is a Sunnah and the reward of it is that of one who fasted all day and stood all night in prayeron it and stood in prayer

The Khutbah given by the Prophet would consist of words of advise in addition to admonishing and hope ● When the Prophet A delivered the sermon, his eyes would become red and he would raise his voice and his anger would be intense, so much so that it was as if he was warning an army ● He would make the sermon short and he would make the prayer long and during the sermon, he would teach his Companions the rules of Islam and its laws and he would command them and prohibit them ● And if he observed that one of them was in great need, he would order them to give charity and encourage them to do so
